Our Mission

Hi, I'm Raeal the Protogen. I've been making YouTube and Twitch content under the name Raeal since 2020, and ever since I was able to have an audience, I always wanted my own merch to provide to my community. I always knew that i wanted my merchandise and the things representing me, my channel, and my community to be the highest quality I could offer without sacrificing too much affordability.

 

I partnered with various merch companies early on in my career in pursuit of merch I could wear with pride knowing it was the best I could provide, however it became very clear that these companies didn't have my best interest in mind, nor did they care for my community in the same way I did. Their products were too cheap, and I found myself not wearing my own brand.

 

These companies were fraught with issues. Everything from poor quality prints, sub-par fabric materials, missed deadlines, disorganization and miscommunication, LACK of communication, and so much more; made it so frustrating to get anything of quality out in a timely manner, especially when it felt like these companies just... didn't care. Projects that had deadlines set a year in advance were forgotten about entirely and rushed in the last month. Other projects were completely forgotten about.

 

I didn't even own the artwork I was getting of my own characters, and to this day still don't.

 

I was doing my best to sell the merch that I had. Through complaints and comments from my community, I knew that this just wasn't going to work. These companies took my name and my recognition and sold my community the cheapest possible option. They fought me every step of the way trying to get higher quality materials and higher quality prints. When I said I wanted quality over quantity, they fought me on that too.

 

I was tired of being taken advantage of by merch companies that didn't seem to care about me, so I started my own.

I started this company because I believe every content creator and streamer should have access to a merch provider that cares about the quality of their products just as much as that creator cares about their community. Creators will own 100% of the artwork they get commissioned through Blue Screen Apparel and also have direct and final say in what gets made into merchandise. Basically, if they say jump; we're gonna ask how high.

 

We will do everything in our power to ensure that our partners get the best service that we can provide, and in turn their customers and communities will also receive that service.

 

I believe that I have the opportunity to provide the best quality and most unique merch through my store, and I believe I can do it at an acceptable price for most communities while keeping the quality of the merchandise a priority in my focus.

 

This is just the beginning of my story, and the story of Blue Screen Apparel.
